Our Background
How We Got Our Start
GitArmor Is a New Hampshire based design and maker of protective guitar covers founded by Jed, an amateur musician and multidisciplinary engineer and designer.
Jed started GitArmor out of the need to protect his acoustic guitars from the dangers of dry weather and other elemental threats. Jed was tired of constantly replacing the poorly performing humidity packets every couple days and even more adverse to transferring his guitars to and from their safe but bulky cases. So he designed a guitar cover that combined the protective elements of a case with unfettered access. Jed also wanted to have a protective cover that enhanced the natural beauty of the guitar itself.
The need to find a well-designed and functioning cover that not only protected his valued acoustic guitars but also gave him easy access to them did not exist in the market. With this challenge, the first guitar cover was built. Since that first one, many iterations were created to ensure the resulting covers are both functioning and aesthetically pleasing. We are committed to promoting the unwavering beauty that acoustic guitars provide to every guitar player and listener alike.
